Bio

This year I am teaching Political Science 211 and 212 to upcoming seniors as a dual enrollment course required for his/her graduation as well as American History.

I am a graduate of Richlands High School.  I have an A.S. from Southwest VA Community College, a B.S. from Radford University in History and Social Science, an M.A. from Virginia Tech and I am currently working diligently towards my EdS and EdD via ETSU.

I am a wife and mother.  My 3 children nd my husband Blake and I make our home with Salem, a large Black Cat and Maddux a (too large) Great Dane in Cedar Bluff, VA.  We are active members of Cedar Bluff United Methodist Church.

I am an avid swimmer and swam competitively for Radford University’s women’s team.  I have coached the Tazewell High School swim team for 4 years and enjoy a dip in the chlorine. :-)  I also enjoy scrapbooking, crafts, and a nice session of Netflix.

My goal for you this semester is for you to gain a better understanding of how our Democracy works and to become and informed and active participant in your destiny.

Good Luck and God Bless!
