Welcome to the Class of 2018 Information Page.  Seniors and parents or guardians:  Please check this page frequently for updates!

The last day to sign up for the Senior Banquet is Monday, May 7!

 

IMPORTANT DATES/INFO FOR CLASS OF 2018

 

·         April 25:                Balfour delivery day—all balances must be paid in full before you can receive final items.

 

·         May 9:                  Senior Banquet—RHS Cafeteria, 6:30pm. Banquet is free to graduates and is for class members   ONLY. There’s no cost to you, but you must sign up with Mrs. Oliver. If you sign up but fail to show, you will be charged $15. Attire: dressy casual

 

·         May 20:                Richlands United Methodist Church senior breakfast—more information to follow!

 

·         May 20:                1:15pm--Cap and Gown group portrait. Lifetouch will be here. You must pay for this picture at this time. Exact change only; Lifetouch will not provide change.

 

·         May 20:                2pm--Senior Farewell/Baccalaureate, RHS auditorium. Family and friends are welcome to attend; no tickets needed. Attire: dressy casual (under gown). Speaker: Mr. Rod Cury

 

·         May 22-23:          Senior Exams

 

·         May 24:                Almost Anything Goes; 7th pd. Senior grades will be due by end of day.

 

·         May 25:                Senior Awards Day—9am, RHS auditorium. Graduates are to line up, dressed in cap and gown, in gym by 8:30am. Friends and family are welcome to attend; no tickets needed. Attire: dressy casual (under gown).

 

·         May 25:                Senior Follies—7th pd.

 

·         June 1:                  Graduation practice—8:30am. (Location TBD depending on weather.) This is NOT a dress rehearsal.

 

·         June 1:                  Graduation—meet at predetermined location by 6pm.

 

Dress Code: Anytime you’re wearing your cap and gown, you’re taking part in a traditional ceremony that recognizes YOUR accomplishments. Your dress needs to reflect the dignity of the occasion.

For Ladies:

·         white or light-colored dress that meets all TCPS dress code standards

For Gentlemen:

·         dark or khaki-colored pants or nice, dark jeans (no fading, no holes)

·         white or light-colored shirt with collar

·         clean dress shoes or tennis shoes appropriate to your outfit

·         tie is optional (but nice)

·         NO tee shirts or shorts

*Graduation caps may NOT be decorated for any of the above activities. Students with decorated hats—or in violation of any of the above dress codes--will be removed from the line and barred from participating.
